I
live, train, and coach in Houston, TX
Obviously you clicked on my site because you feel you need help with your
running or triathlon training.
Maybe you are a beginner and don't know how to begin.
Or maybe you are working on a goal and don't know how to get there.
OR???
just maybe you're with another coach and are not getting the results you
want!
Well, hopefully I can help you!
I train all levels from beginners to triathletes to ultramarathoners.
I
train clients at Memorial Park and Rice Univerisity.
I
have two types of training programs to offer:
1) One -On -One Personal Training
2) Email/Telephone Training
After our initial conversation, I will fax or email you a runner
questionnaire so you can fill out and bring to our first meeting.
At the meeting, we will discuss from the questionnaire all the aspects
of running, nutrition, weight training, cross-training, and general health
and fitness.
We will also talk about your training schedule for the month and how to
fit your running schedule with your work and home schedule.
We will then plan a day each week so that we can work out together.
This workout is usually your hardest workout of the week. It could be
speed, track, hills, or a trail workout.
I
am the only running coach in the Houston area that runs/workouts with
each of my clients. I am there side-by-side, stride for stride.
After our meeting, you will be faxed or emailed your monthly schedule
within 24 hours (usually that day).
I also phone or email you at least twice a week to keep tabs on you and
to see how you are doing.

Once

so you can fill out and send back to me.
Once I receive back the questionnaire, I will phone you and we will discuss
from the questionnaire all the aspects of running, nutrition, weight training,
cross-training, and general health and fitness.
We will also talk about your training schedule for the month and how to
fit your running schedule with your work and home schedule.
After our phone conversation, you will be faxed or emailed your monthly
schedule within 24 hours (usually that day).
I will contact you once a week by phone and at least once a week by email.

I believe that running should be serious fun. If you're looking for a
personal running coach, you are indeed serious about your running. You
have decided to make running more of a priority in your life, and you
want to do it the correct way with guidance. If you are just starting
out from "ground zero", running your first 5K, improving your
5K, 10K times, training for triathlons or duathlons, I can help you. If
you are training for your first marathon, improving your marathon time,
trying to qualify for Boston, or moving up to ultra-distances, I can help
you.
I
will take your running seriously and in the meantime also make it fun.
I have two priorities to helping runners achieve their goals.
1)
Variety in weekly workouts for goal-setting and motivation.
2)
I want my clients to stay injury free. I will not ask you to do anything
you can't do, but I will challenge and push you to be your best.
Running
is not the "All" solution to good fitness and health.Strength
training, cross-training, proper nutrition/diet, flexibility, mental fitness,
and rest play important roles in achieving your running goals. These should
all be integrated into your lifestyle. Of course, having a good running
coach will help too!
